Mr. and Mrs. Parrish (again!)

My parents got re-married on May 24, 2013.  They were married May 24, 1974, and then were divorced for almost 23 years.  My mom lost both her parents this past 18 months, and started to reach out to my dad.  Mom moved to Georgia in March. They were hoping that everything would work out.  Needless to say, it did!

There was a wonderful ceremony at Little Mulberry Park.  Mom picked out a clearing that was had the trees to shade us and a beautiful back drop of the wooden fence and trees and flowers.  The ceremony was short and sweet.  The officiator had trouble lighting the candles because it was so windy.  I am so glad that they "found" each other again.  Seeing them both happy makes me happy.

Kailyn's Last Day of Preschool :(

After all these years of taking kids to preschool, usually with kids in tow and/or being pregnant, it is bittersweet to celebrate Kailyn's last day of preschool.  It is crazy how time flies by, especially when you are hoping for the one day they will all be in school full time.  Now that she has completed her year of preschool with such wonderful teachers, I can't believe her last day is here.

She is all the joy that I see her smile every day!  She is full of life, laughter and fun.  She is sensitive to her friends and knows how to be a friend.  She has learned that her cute smile and disposition will get her just about anything she wants.  When she gets into trouble, all she has to say is, "I so sorry.  I won't do it again."  I hope she continues to have such a sunny disposition.

Kailyn's ballet recital

Kailyn had her first ballet recital in May.  She loved dressing up and even wearing makeup.  She did so well.  She is my tiny dancer!

Getting a bun in her hair was near impossible!  It held for the duration of the recital.
Who can really say no to that smile?
All of the girls...tired of pictures :)
