I can't remember who gave me this fabulous idea to do Summer Chore Bingo. Stacey Julian came up with this idea on her blog. Of course her bingo cards look a lot cuter than mine, but it is working.
We started it this week and I have heard:
"Mom, can I do a load of laundry?"
"Can I read books to Tyler?"
"Can I vacuum my room tonight Mom?"
I even came down from showering to very eager students working in their workbooks. I didn't have to say a word.
It has kept our days free of boredom and the best part about it is that they are learning to work.
