I love Madison's sensitivity. AT times I can cause her to become too sensitive, but she always keeps me aware of things I wouldn't normally think about it. She is spiritually in tune - and yes I take lessons from a 7 year old. I love to see her go about her day when she doesn't think someone is looking at her. The kindness she displays is very touching. I love all the little notes and creative cards she leaves me on my bedside table. She always knows how to make others smile and when they need it the most. I hope to be more like her someday!
We had a family party the Saturday before her birthday. She had the chocolatest (if that isn't a word I am creating it) cake I have ever tasted! I took a devil's food cake mix and added an egg and a package of the powdered pudding (thanks to Tanya for the great recipe!) and then Mike added his perfected ganache on top. He even wrote her name in melted white chocolate. Mike's culinary skills have far surpassed mine. I baked the cake so I can say that I helped at least!
I really wanted a small effortless party this year - so Natasha and I took Madison and 3 friends to see Monsters vs. Aliens. It was so cute to see the girls giggling even before the movie began. The twins even said this was their first movie experience.
