My wonderful Dad took me and the kids to the Dallas World Aquarium last Wednesday. I didn't know this place existed. It is a fantastic place, a little pricey I might add, but well worth it. It had a vast array of animals - fish, sharks, manatees, crocodiles, piranhas, snakes, flamingos, jack rabbits, a jaguar, turtles, sting rays and more I am sure. The best part was the tunnel underneath the shark pool. We all sat there for 30 minutes watching the sharks swim all around us. My favorite part was the diver feeding the manatees. They were right up against the glass eating. One of the manatees put its fins around the diver like it was giving the diver a hug. Tyler said, "Look Mommy - a great big hug!"
