It is sad and exciting to say, that we are MOVING to Georgia!
Mike felt the familiar feeling of "that is where you need to be" about a year ago. Then his job was not heading towards Georgia. I didn't really get the confirmation until about 2 weeks after that he told me of a new project he will be working on. Then he said that he would have a chance to travel to Atlanta. As soon as he said it I knew.
A buddy of his at work was told to apply for a job in Atlanta. Mike knew that he could probably have the same opportunity - there were several jobs available. We prayed about it that night and the answer came was "yes, but not now." Two days later Mike was told to apply for a certain position in Atlanta (this was back in October).
It took forever to finally have the relocation package get approved. It is official though - we will soon have a sign in our yard. I have been working like crazy to get our house ready. I enjoy having most of the toys in storage right now :) The kids don't even miss them.
We will be house hunting next weekend. I know I will miss my kids, but I am looking forward to a little get-away with my hubby. If it is for house hunting, I guess I will take it. We haven't been on a vacation together since before we even knew we were pregnant with Madison.
