SNOW DAY

The kids were so disappointed to HAVE to go to school on Thursday, but were elated to see it was still snowing when they got home early from school. Needless to say our house hunting trip started off with a canceled flight to Atlanta. So we had a frustrating date to the airport last night.

We woke up to a winter wonderland. Here are some pictures. I still can't believe I am looking at this much snow in Texas. I have lived here all my life and can't believe it. I like the snow, but I do like knowing that in a couple of days it will be back to "normal" Texas weather.

The awesome snowman with help from Dad! The rake broke when Madison and Kason were flinging snow at each other, so now it is Frosty's arms.

Such a beautiful sight to see! Mike shook our trees a couple of times the yesterday to prevent the branches from breaking. The branches were nearly touching the ground.

Tyler finally made it outside. He doesn't care for the cold much. I heard him say, "This is so much pun!" I think his smile says it all. Yes, those are grocery bags on their feet. Those are poor man boots.

Kailyn and Mommy watched from inside where it was warm and toasty!
